As the catchphrase goes “No likey, no lighty” ITV bosses have decided to pull the plug because they feel the show has “run its course” after airing over episodes. The dating show was known for single men arriving down to the stage in a “love lift” in attempts to convince the women lined up on stage to keep their lights on for the eligible bachelor.

International versions of the show began screening in Denmark as Dagens Mand Today’s Man from , with the Netherlands the first country to use the title ” Take Me Out ” in In June , the series was cancelled and would not return for a second season. The objective of the show is for a single man to obtain a date with one of thirty single women.

At the beginning of last November, a Chinese teacher and colleague at my school sent me a message on WeChat the Chinese near-equivalent of WhatsApp asking if I was looking for a girlfriend in China.
